Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Non-Discrimination Policy:

 

1. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance:

   Caring First, LLC is committed to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and ensuring equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We strive to provide accessible and inclusive services to all clients, employees, and visitors. The following policies and procedures are in place to ensure ADA compliance:

   a. Non-Discrimination Policy:

      Caring First, LLC prohibits discrimination based on disability in all aspects of employment and service delivery. We will not discriminate against individuals with disabilities in hiring, promotions, job assignments, or the provision of services. Every employee at Caring First, LLC has the right to work in a professional environment where their knowledge, abilities, and skills are the direct result of their success. Caring First, LLC provides equal employment and advancement opportunities to all employees. Employment decisions at Caring First, LLC will be based on merit, qualifications, and abilities. Caring First, LLC does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices based on race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

 This policy governs all aspects of employment, including selection, job assignment, compensation, discipline, termination, and access to benefits and training. Any employee found to be engaging in any type of unlawful discrimination will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

   b. Reasonable Accommodations:

      Caring First, LLC will make reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to ensure equal access to our services and facilities. Reasonable accommodations may include modifications to policies, procedures, or physical environments to accommodate the needs of individuals with disabilities, unless it imposes an undue hardship on the organization.

    c. Accessibility:

      Caring First, LLC is committed to providing accessible facilities, equipment, and communication for individuals with disabilities. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure our physical environments, website, and communication methods are accessible to individuals with disabilities, in compliance with ADA standards.

    d. Grievance Procedure:

      Caring First, LLC has established a grievance procedure to address ADA-related concerns and complaints. Individuals with disabilities who believe they have been subjected to discrimination or have been denied reasonable accommodations can submit a complaint following the procedures outlined in the Complaints and Grievances Policies section.

    e. Training and Education:

      Caring First, LLC will provide training and education to employees regarding ADA compliance, disability awareness, and the provision of reasonable accommodations. This training will ensure that our staff is knowledgeable and capable of meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities.

    f. Compliance Officer:

      Caring First, LLC has designated a Compliance Officer responsible for overseeing ADA compliance and addressing any ADA-related concerns. The Compliance Officer will ensure the organization's policies and procedures align with ADA requirements and serve as a resource for employees, clients, and visitors regarding ADA matters.

 Employees will not be disciplined for failing to report something that occurred to them, and the company will not retaliate for any report that the employee believes the behavior is inappropriate even though it may be proved otherwise after further investigation. The full investigation will be documented, reported, and filed.
